Published by Information Services, R.A.F. Cranage and printed by Heads (Congleton) Ltd., 11, High Street, Congleton, Cheshire, The Cranage Courier was a monthly publication for U.S. personnel.

These 4 page news letters were published to help with the integration of the servicemen into the local community. They included articles on American politics, sports , show business & general news along with local [Cranage] interest and a crossword.

The copy shown is Volume One, No.6, 20th July, 1956. Even though I have contacted Heads, the printers [who now print the Congleton, Biddulph and Sandbach Chronicle newspapers along with running the http://www.chronicleseries.com/ web-site], they unfortunately had no idea about this publication and therefore they have no paper or electronic copies of other Cranage Courier newsletters.
